GoTop 1. Indirect immunofluorescence tests
The test is based on the binding of specific antibodies to chicken erythrocytes coated with Aspergillus antigen on slides. Binding is detected through FITC-labelled anti-human IgA, anti-human IgM and anti-human IgG antibodies. Our special coating procedures permit immediate identification, even of non-specific results. FLUORIMMUN-Aspergillus offers a differentiated investigation of the immune response by distinguishing between the immunoglobulin classes IgA, IgM and IgG.

GoTop 2. Indirect haemagglutination test (IHT) for Aspergillus
The antigen for the indirect haemagglutination test to detect antibodies against Aspergillus species is obtained from Aspergillus fumigatus. This antigen is composed of polysaccharides with several serologically active components. They detect antibodies against cell wall antigens of the fungus. The indirect haemagglutination Aspergillus antigen employs formalinized sheep erythrocytes loaded with Aspergillus antigen. They react with specific serum antibodies and reveal visible, extensive agglutination.
